Daily Dose If you are able to take a deep breath do so now. Hold this breath within your body. Be aware of the sensation of having air within your lungs. Now, with your next deep breath in, pay attention to how the air rushes into your nostrils. Hold it longer than you normally hold a breath and exhale. With your next deep breath pay attention to what happens when you exhale. Feel how relaxed you are becoming. Is it any wonder when someone is upset commonly held advice says that taking a deep breath will calm them?
